This is are cool new apartment in downtown Durham. 

Its a converted tobacco warehouse with 16 foot ceilings, original brick walls and hardwood floors.  We both like it lot better than our previous basement place (It feels good to be able to raise our hands above our heads and not touch the ceiling). 

They have converted the old freight elevator into a sky light.

It's a loft style apartment.  Unlike our old place we have lots of space. Click on a thumbnail to see a bigger picture

We keep the stuff from our travels here. We can't tell you where we travelled to get the lava lamp!

They have kept many of the original fittings

And we have added some industrial touches of our own

unlike our old place we now have furniture

Jen plays beautiful music by the light of the abandoned elevator
